Parkroyal Community School would like to congratulate four of our pupils who have been awarded key pupil leadership roles. All year 6 pupils who were interested in having a role were asked to write a letter of application. This was followed by an interview with Mrs Beaumont and the deputy head teacher, Mr Ransom. All of the letters of application were a joy to read and the pupils who were interviewed demonstrated confidence and enthusiasm.
The students' roles will include being responsible for representing the school at events, and making public speeches. They will also serve as a good role model for students, and share pupils' ideas with the school’s leadership.
My name is Robyn. I wanted to be Head Girl to set a good example to the younger children and help improve the school further. My hobbies outside of school include dancing, baking, playing with my dogs Odie and Hank, trampolining and drawing. I am really looking forward to seeing the school improve and being a part of it.
I am Ben and I wanted to be Head Boy because I love school, especially art, and being a part of something brilliant. I have a 13 year old brother as well as my mum and dad. When I am at school I am academic and sensible as well as being popular and a fun person.
Deputy Head Girl
My name is Anya. I am 10 years old and in Year 6. I have 2 cats and collect model dragons. My favourite lessons are French, Art, Music and English. I love spending time reading with my Reception reading buddy. I like learning and can’t wait to start high school.
Deputy Head Boy
I am Hugo and I am 10 (soon to be 11). As well as Deputy Head Boy I am a member of the school’s Enrichment and Banking Team and part of the school orchestra and football team. If I were to describe myself in three words, this is what I would say: ‘Chatty, comedic and exuberant’ Outside of school I enjoy playing football at the park, watching TV and reading: my favourite programme is My Babysitter Is A Vampire and I have just finished the last book of the Hunger Games trilogy.
