The challenge is ready to go.

The sponsor time table challenge is all ready for tomorrow.

It has been great to see so many of you working hard in preparation; with smiles on your faces.

Good luck to you all and a big thank you for all the sponsors so far. Your generosity is very much appreciated and will be added to the Event and Banking team's target for enriching spaces around school.

Who will it be?

As the Spring term maths challenge is close to end, the top three classes on the Mathletics leader board this evening will be announced in tomorrow morning's whole school assembly; the trophy will be presented to the class in the top spot. You still have time to make a difference to your class position.                Well done to all of you that have given so much of your time and hard work.

Are you ready?

On Friday the 28th April the whole school will be taking part in the sponsored 'TIMES TABLE CHALLENGE' which the Event's and Banking Team have worked together to organise.

Across the year groups lots of you have already been practising and polishing up on your knowledge and quick recall skills in preparation for the challenge.

All sponsor money collected will be used to enrich our space around school, so every penny is very much appreciated. The events team will keep you up to date with the amount collected and where it will be used to benefit our whole school to enjoy. Even if you don't manage to get a sponsor you will still take part in the challenge, so good luck to you all.

The clock's ticking...

Who will be next?

The mathletics trophy was won by 6HW for our Spring term and a class breakfast was enjoyed with Mrs Beaumont. The Cup is proudly displayed and polished in 6HW and the class are very reluctant to pass it on!

The next class time total will be counted and the top three classes will be announced in our whole school assembly after the Easter break. The leader board is extremely close at the minute, so keep going and show your teamwork.

Ellie show's real determination as week in week out she tries her very best, constantly challenging herself and has the drive to want to improve her maths skills. I know Ellie finds some of the tasks a little tricky, however she never gives up. This for me is a pupil to look up too.

A really great week...

54 awards across school last week which included 2 GOLD and 7 Silver.

Gold archived by Elijas 3CP and Sureya 2AR. A BIG well done to you both and thank you for working so hard. We also have a first ever bronze award for Michaela 2MN, well done to you too.

2MN once again are the weeks highest award achievers with 10 under their class belt, 6HW are close behind with 9! Every week I have a smile when collecting this information as it shows fantastic team work.

Mr Ransom had the pressure in this mornings assembly of drawing four tickets from the Mathletics pot, which included the names of all children from years 1-6 who had earned an award in February. Children drawn received a little treat for their continued hard work throughout the month.

Well done Jacob 6HP, Penny 2MN, Kitty 4SC and Megan 6HW. I'm sure you will agree the 'fantastic four' look very happy with their achievement.
