Robbie's Rangers got off to a flying start with their planting efforts. Here they are all ready to go...
First of all we looked at the front of the school and found that there were lots of little spaces where we could plant garlic bulbs. We all had a go and were careful not to squash each other's bulbs.
Mr Robinson then showed us some delicate crocus bulbs that will brighten up the front entrance in the spring.
This end up!
After that we went round to the Reception garden to see what we could plant.
The nice people from Vernon Aggregates gave us some super soil ....Thank you!!!
Popping in some daffodil bulbs.
Then we planted some lovely hyacinths in the tubs around the outdoor area.
Don't worry, Mr Robinson made sure they were all covered up and watered.
When we had finished planting, we went back inside to find out what seeds we had that we could plant like chillies, peppers, onions and leeks. We had a great time and hope that next week it doesn't rain again!
