PGL 2017

June 2017 Year 6 pupils embarked on a journey like no other. An experience that would test their strength, mindset, determination .....

I really enjoyed the PGL trip as it’s help me build my confidence. Also, the activities were extremely fun, and sometimes very difficult.

Raft building and canoeing on the first few days ..... straight in at the deep end!

Although I had no voice at PGL, I really enjoyed singing different ‘repeat after me’ songs whilst walking to the different activities. Also, my favourite activities that we did was Archery and abseiling . The Groupies were very nice to all of us and very patient. PGL is the best place to make you face your fears and you are guaranteed to have the best time outside.

Zipwire, abseiling, giant swing, archery, fencing, tunnel trail, low ropes, challenge course, trapeze ..... all in 5 days!!!!

I believe that PGL helps with life skills, helps conquer fears and you get to learn new stuff. Before I came to PGL, I thought that I couldn’t do any of the activities but when I did the first activity, I was so excited to try it again and do the other activities. PGL has been an amazing experience for me and I can’t wait to do more new things.

The campfire was one of our favourite evening activities ... we loved singing songs (with the help of Mr SIndon!) and eating toasted marshmallows

I really enjoyed the PGL trip because it has given me opportunities that I probably won’t get in the future. It has also helped me become more confident as an individual and has definitely brought me closer to everybody in Team 6.

I believe that PGL is good to conquer your fears and collaborate with other children.
In a way it is learning but even better- you get to do really fun things like archery, fencing and trapezing. It is good for the future.

I think PGL is a great trip because of the experiences you get!
