This week Year 4 went on a very exciting trip to Gradbach. Gradbach is a park/forest in the Peak District of Macclesfield, UK. There were many activities to do on their interesting trip; making s'mores, going down a mudslide, playing 123 where are you?, singing songs and roasting marshmallows round a campfire. This was their first time they had been on an overnight residential and they loved it!
After the first year 4 class returned from their trip, they spent the day writing a very interesting diary entry from the perspective of their teddy bears and their thoughts about going to Gradbach. The piece of writing made it seem like the teddy bears come alive. They have also drawn pictures of their bears to decorate their work and they look extraordinary.
