14 hungry pupils visited the catering department at Macclesfield College to critique dishes created by the college catering students. Following a visit to the school kitchen at Parkroyal and some invaluable nutrition advice from Mrs Barber, the students were tasked with creating a healthy menu suitable to serve as school meals which the pupils were asked to taste and give feedback on the dishes. There was a wonderful selection of main meals, puddings and snacks including sweet and sour chicken, fish goujons, cottage pie, pasta, lemon posset, flapjacks and much more.
The children thoroughly enjoyed all the food and gave some extremely useful feedback to the students. One of the lecturers John said
'Your students are a credit to the school. So well behaved and full of confidence. I hope that we can call on your services next year'.
