Gardening Club - Week 6

Well things are certainly growing very quickly in the school garden! We started this week by taking photographs of the different things we'd planted to see how they were doing.

The potatoes on the Astro pitch are overflowing!

The many peas are starting to climb the trellis. Mr Robinson isn't sure how the carrots will do considering how closely together they are planted...that may have been due to a slight seed packet slip by Mrs Hunt. Oops!

The children are very excited that we have ripe strawberries now.

On with the work...it's time to transplant some carrots and the beetroot into the raised bed.
