The hard work started this week as the gardening club got their hands dirty...
Mr Robinson showed us all the seeds we had to plant today; peas, tomatoes and gourds. The group then split up into three; turning the raised beds over, planting seeds and transferring compost.
The raised beds were full of roots, worms and the odd potato from last year! Mrs Morton-Race rallied the troops!
We worked hard to plant the seeds and even remembered to label the trays.
Meanwhile, Mr Robinson and some children wheelbarrowed compost to a huge sack to plant potatoes in.
Seeds planted, seed potatoes buried and the soil turned over...all in an hour!
Great work today Y3&4...more planting and digging next week so come prepared.
