Gardening Club -week 2

The hard work started this week as the gardening club got their hands dirty...

 The rain didn't stop us!

Mr Robinson showed us all the seeds we had to plant today; peas, tomatoes and gourds. The group then split up into three; turning the raised beds over, planting seeds and transferring compost.

The raised beds were full of roots, worms and the odd potato from last year!  Mrs Morton-Race rallied the troops!

We worked hard to plant the seeds and even remembered to label the trays.

Seeds planted, seed potatoes buried and the soil turned over...all in an hour!
