Egg-citing news for the chickens!

Last year 4BW hatched chicks in class. This was a very exciting time and now we have more exciting news!

They are older and have developed into either noisy cockerels or elegant hens.

Yesterday (3/12/16) Miss Williams was very excited, when she went out to the coup to let them out in the morning. There was an egg! Miss Williams thinks this egg is from the chicken named Jewel. Jewel is the smallest chicken and it is a very small egg. Then this morning (4/12/16), there was another one. So two days on the run we have had an egg. Lucky Miss Williams! What's your favourite way to eat your eggs in the morning? Miss Williams' is with soldiers.

Although she hasn't eaten these ones, as she did promise she would bring them in to show the children.
